Click "Start", "Settings", and then
"Control Panel". Within "Control Panel",
double-click "Dial-Up Networking" icon, and then
double-click the "Make New Connection" icon to
open the setup wizard.
2. For the "Type
a name for the computer you are dialing" section, type SurfAnytime.
If your system's modem is not listed in the "Select a
modem" section, select your modem type from that
pull-down menu. Now click on the Multilink tab, select 'use
additional devices' then click 'add'. Select the
second ISDN modem and enter the exact same telephone number
as previous. and click "Next".
3. Within the "Area
Code" and "Telephone Number" sections, type
the SurfAnytime dialup number that is local to your area,
and click "Next". SurfAnytime's dialup numbers can
be found at http://www.surfanytime.net/support
4. A confirmation will
verify that you created a new Dial-Up Networking connection
called "SurfAnytime", and you can click
"Finish" at this point.
5. From here, you can
create a shortcut icon for the SurfAnytime dialer on your
desktop screen. Click "Start",
"Settings", and then "Control Panel".
Within "Control Panel", double-click the
"Dial-Up Networking" icon, and you should see an
icon titled "SurfAnytime".
6. You should see a
separate icon for the SurfAnytime dialer you just created.
Right mouse-click over that icon, and select "Create
Shortcut".
7. You should receive
this message - "Windows cannot create a shortcut here.
Do you want the shortcut to be placed on the desktop
instead". Click the "Yes" button, and the
dialer icon will appear on your desktop screen.
8. To start your
Internet connection, double-click the dialer icon to open
the dialer program. Type your "User name" and
"Password" IDs exactly as they appear in your
email confirmation. Check/Select the "Save
password" option.
9. Click the
"Connect" button, and a "Status" box
will appear to display the progress of your connection
attempt. That box will disappear once you've successfully
established your Internet connection.
